Amanda is a professional graphic designer out of Southern California, where she lives with her husband and daughter.
Becoming a mom was something she'd wanted for as long as she can remember. But when her daughter was born, she quickly realized how impactful and formative pregnancy and the first year of motherhood can be for a new mom. This sparked an idea for a book that she couldn't ignore.
As a life-long creative, Amanda had always dreamt of one day writing a book. When the inspiration for Your Nursery Walls struck, it sparked and caught like wildfire. The following two years, Amanda kept her head down and focused on the goal of bringing the concept to life. Through navigating self-publishing, partnering with incredible women and moms for illustration and editing, designing the book herself, building a brand around it, and launching with a successful $5,000+ pre-order campaign, Amanda has found immense joy in creating a book so many others love just as much as she does.

This project has been a labor of love since my daughter was born in October of 2021. What started as a quick idea jotted down in the notes app of my phone has grown into a book I'm proud to call my own.
Each page has been beautifully crafted with whimsical, playful, full-of-life illustrations that bring each word to life. From conceptualizing and refining, my illustrator has sketched and finalized each page with so much love and attention to detail.
The book has also been professionally edited and designed, as well as reviewed (and adored) by moms with kids of all ages!
